Locate the NAS in the list, and then double-click the name or IP address. Open Qfinder Pro utility on you PC/Mac first, then use an USB cable connection between your PC/Mac USB port & NAS USB QuickAccess port (in the NAS front panel), the Qfinder Pro utility will automatically detect NAS device and ask Do you want to directly open the NAS folder message, click OK button. Also, I can access and map all shares using \\servername\sharename. Qfinder Pro automatically searches for all QNAP NAS devices on the network.

However, both are ping-able by IP and NetBIOS or FDQN names from a Win 7 PC. Does anyone have any clues? I am sure it is a symptom of an on-going network problem I have – neither the TS-509 Pro nor the DS1813+ show up in Network Places. Local DNS provided by a Synology DS1813+ (fixed IP, points to TS-509 Pro WINS server, LAG configured ports), also provided by the DHCP server to PCs. DHCP server (on router) hands out the WINS Server IP (the TS-509 Pro IP). All PCs and the NAS are in the same workgroup. I run the two Ethernet ports as LAG to an HP switch that supports it. The TS-509 Pro works fine nonetheless and I recently reconfigured it from scratch to re-role it as a backup server (QFinder didn't work before that either). It used to work a while back (I don't use it much) but somehow it now no longer works - it simply fails to find any record of my TS-509 Pro at all. To insure that you never 'lose' the QNAP again - assign at least one of the QNAP ports to a static IP Address so if this happens again, you can always get back into it manually with static IP address on the other port.

I want.As per the title, QFinder doesn't find my TS-509 Pro anymore I am running firmware 4.0.3 build0912 and QFinder 4.a. Make sure that BOTH your Win 10 PC AND your QNAP ethernet ports are plugged into the WIRED ports of your router or switch. My first notion is to say no and require them to pull in their own connection. They want one port to put their firewall/router on and drive their network from there. I also run the QNAP Qfinder Pro to try and access my NAS but i just keep.
